  • Alstom Managing Director for Signalling& Infra Railways

I am an Engineer& MBA with more than 20 years of experience on railways on different managerial positions in international companies such as ACS, Alcatel, Thales and currently Alstom, delivering amazing mobility projects for the sake of the people of Egypt such as the Monorail, Cairo Metro line 3 and Main Line in Upper Egypt.

I have passion for the family, friends, sports, and for learning& developing. I do believe on growing mindset& communication as key enablers for personal development, with a humble approach& empathy to understand better our world and people around us

My family and me are now more than 8 years in Egypt, and I have to say that we have been very fortuned of being able to rise our children in Cairo within a great and enriching mix of Egyptian& international community. Feeling from the begging that we were not alone in a new country, but we were adopted by it and ultimately supported by the people around you, it is a unique experience that we have acknowledged from day one. This feeling was even stronger when our first son Bosco, joined NCBIS one day back in 2017 when we started to experience a fantastic school environment, which was driven by the families& amazing school community that made us feel NCBIS as a kind of a second home, a safe and challenging place for our kids to grow not only from the academic stand point of view but also as integral persons with  values such us collaboration and commitment, effort and discipline, respect& inclusiveness.

Last 2 years we have gone through lot of challenges, including new academic management, new teachers, and all of this under COVID19 threat. Hence, and despite all efforts of the school and the families, education has been impacted and our relations weaken.

Therefore, my application to the Board can only been understood within the frame of a willingness to represent and serve our community, to support the communication between the school and the parents, to reinforce our values and to help to recover the situation of the last 2 years in order our loved school is not only back on track but even improved at all levels, and this is including quality of teaching, community, teachers, personnel, learning support, languages, sports& other ECAS and usage of the school.

Finally, I want to thank to the current team of the board and teachers that have asked me to participate in this election, to the parents that are trusting me and to my family, especially my wife Carmen, for their support.

With regards,
