Meet The Principal

I am delighted to introduce you and your family to New Cairo British International School. 

Our school is an inclusive, vibrant international community of approximately 800 students aged from 3 years to 18+ years, representing over 70 different nationalities. This rich diversity provides a unique and exciting learning environment for every child. To prepare our students to be outstanding 21st century global citizens, we nurture strong values in our students, based on mutual understanding and respect.

NCBIS is a very special place for children to grow up and gives each and every pupil an outstanding start to their education. Our teachers are inventive, fun and keen to share their enthusiasm for their subjects and make a determined effort to get to know new children: what makes them tick, their concerns and dreams. We encourage and champion kindness and, regardless of age, new pupils, quickly feel settled, happy and appreciated for who they are. 

At NCBIS we believe that learning should be accessible to everyone and our High Performance Learning approach supports every child to find the tools and opportunities they need to achieve their full potential within an environment that is fun and supportive. This philosophy is at the heart of everything that we do. We encourage all our pupils to make the most of every opportunity and be the best that they can be. Our teachers, across every subject, work under the HPL philosophy.  As a school we believe that all children can progress strongly and reach the top.  By adopting HPL, we are at the cutting edge of educational thought and are giving all our pupils the tools they need to succeed.

Considerable care is taken to ensure that learning is personalised according to individual needs. We believe that students thrive when there is a strong partnership between school and home, and pride ourselves on offering a warm welcome and providing ongoing support for all new families.
