In accordance with KCSiE 2024 and Safer Recruitment in Education legislation, appointed candidates from the United Kingdom are required to provide and before travel arrangements are confirmed a signed criminal record, self-declaration form, original birth certificate, an International Child Protection Certificate and full police clearance from prior countries of residence for the last 5-8 years.

The teaching assistant at NCBIS is part of the primary team, working alongside a class teacher, the teaching assistant team, a Phase HLTA and the academic and pastoral leadership teams.
NCBIS works in partnership with parents and the school community and the teaching assistant is a key link within this community.

requirements

  • General understanding of National/EYFS curriculum and other basic learning programmes/strategies.
  • Basic understanding of child development and learning.
  • Ability to self-evaluate learning needs and actively seek learning opportunities.

  • Administers various human resource plans, policies, and procedures for all local personnel;
    assists in the development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures;
    prepares and maintains employee handbook and policies, and procedures manuals.
  •  Administers the compensation program; monitors the performance evaluation program, and
    Revises as necessary.
  •  Performs benefits administration to include claims resolution, approving invoices for
    payment and communicating benefit information to employees.
  •  Handles employee relations counseling, including exit interviewing.
