Principal

My name is Trudie Masterson and I am the new Principal of NCBIS. Prior to coming to Egypt, I worked as Principal of an International School in Qatar and before that I was Headmistress of an independent prep school in London, Deputy Head in Surrey and Deputy Head of the independent girls’ school that I, myself attended as a student in Somerset.  I have taught Reception, English at primary and secondary, GCSE and A Level Psychology as well as some ICT and Geography.  I am passionate about education which stimulates, engages and develops critical thinkers. I believe that every child has an aspect of genius and it is our task as educators to unlock that door. Working in education is a privilege, not a right and those who choose to do the most important job in the world deserve the utmost of respect.  I have owned my own language school in Germany, jumped out of an aeroplane on a few occasions and my passions are live music and driving fast cars!
