Secondary Teacher - Economics
Modern Foreign languages Department
A native of Cork in Ireland I gained my BA (Maths/Economics) in 2001 followed by a Masters in Business Economics and a PGCE, all from NUI, Cork. After one year in the banking industry in Ireland and Australia I decided to give teaching all of my attention and I haven't looked back since 2005. Having taught in various vocational education settings in Dublin my love of travel has taken me to Abu Dhabi, Shanghai, Madrid and the Canary Islands before my current adventure in Cairo where I am loving life so far. Most of my experience has been in upper school Economics and Business and lower/middle school Mathematics and History, all of which are areas of study I am very passionate about. I am interested in many sports including Gaelic games and golf and I like to pass my weekends hiking, reading and generally exploring wherever I currently find myself. I am very happy to be a member of this amazing NCBIS team.
