Secondary Teacher - Mathematics
Originally from Southern Ontario in Canada, I graduated with both a B. Ed and B.Sc. in Honours Physics with minor degrees in Chemistry and Psychology. Since then, I have taught a variety of subjects, but I am most passionate about math and science because I believe numeracy and scientific literacy are vitals skills to have in life. This prompted me to obtain a Masters of Mathematics for Teachers degree in 2019. I love travelling and learning new languages, and during my career I have lived and worked in Mexico, Germany, Brazil, Canada, Russia, Czech Republic, Ecuador, and most recently, in the United Kingdom. I choose to come to NCBIS for many reasons, but Africa was the final continent on my bucket list. I have many hobbies and interests over the years, from hosting local radio and television programs to sports, chess, astronomy, and trivia games.
