Originally from Austria, I moved to the UK to become a teacher and taught for over 25 years in various schools across London until becoming an International teacher, 11 years ago. I have taught in Jordan, Qatar, Abu Dhabi and Ethiopia and am now looking forward to my second year at NCBIS. I have a son, Ollie, who is a writer. My hobbies include trekking, running, sky-diving, playing the piano and photography. I am very excited to have discovered a kayaking club here which enables me to pursue my favourite sport, kayaking - watching the sun go down whilst kayaking on the River Nile is breathtaking!
