I graduated with a BA (hons) English Language and Literature degree and then completed my PGCE at Nottingham University in the UK. I taught these subjects for over ten years in schools around The Midlands area. I was able to also develop my teaching strategies whilst working in a range of schools and I also began to work my way up through a variety of middle management and senior leadership positions during my career. I took the leap into international teaching in 2018 and my first post was in a different school Cairo. From getting onto the plane at Heathrow, I have never looked back, and I have been here ever since. I am delighted to be working at NCBIS and I look forward to teaching every day.Outside of the classroom, I enjoy strength sports and I have represented England at Benchpressing. I am also a keen Manchester United fan.
