I graduated in 1996 with a BA (Hons) in English Literature, followed two years later with an MA from the University of Leeds, also in English Literature. Nine years on, I completed a PGCE before teaching A-level for 11 years, during which time I spent three years as HoD and two years as Literacy Co-ordinator. I used to make music in my spare time and have recently been enjoying writing a series of reflections on leaving the UK to work abroad. Since arriving at NCBIS just over four years ago, I have taught IGCSE and IB English courses and this year, have started teaching Theory of Knowledge to KS5 students.
